Imperial Dragon
The dragon was the symbol of the Emperor in
ancient China—only he could wear the image on his clothes. Today it
still represents the Emperor, as well as male vigor. This
earthenware teapot displays the intricate (and rare) double-carving
technique, featuring a beautiful dragon fit for a king—or queen! The
red and yellow colors come from the natural Yi Xing clay, known for
its ability to hold heat and enhance flavor.
Double Carved, Serves 1, 4˝" Tall, 9oz.
