Enlightenment
The willow is venerated by the Chinese. It stands
for resiliency, flexibility, and meekness. There is a Chinese
proverb, “the willow you plant accidentally, gives shade and
protection when grown”; which emphasizes that we are always guided
by Heaven. Here, the slender leaves are poised gracefully beside the
spout of this Yi Xing earthenware teapot for one.
