So, what are these double-digit sizes and what do they mean, anyway??
Chinese shoe sizes are unisex, and run from size 21 (a tiny toddler’s size shoe) to size 46 (a pretty big guy’s shoe). The size run does not exactly correspond to European sizing. Kids sizes generally run from 21 to 30; girls from 31-34; boys from 33-38; women’s sizes generally run from 35 to 42; and men’s sizes from 38 to 46

How can I find my correct shoe size?
For the shoes we sell on our website, we have tested the size run against real US sizes and real feet; as we assume that most of our customers will be ordering by their US size. The best way to get the right fit is to order by your best US size. Click on the arrow in the size box beneath each pair of shoes, and you will see a list of the sizes in which that shoe is available; with the US sizes listed first, followed by the Chinese sizes

Please note: Ordering by the Chinese size you found in a little grocery in Chinatown may not get you the correct fit. We have noticed that sizing varies from company to company of shoe manufacturers in China. And so, we have made adjustments in our size run to allow for these discrepancies.

You will notice that some shoes measure differently than others!

For example, a 37 in the Kung Fu shoes will fit US ladies size 7 to 7.5;
while in the Bronze Silk Mary Jane shoes, a 37 equals a US ladies 6.5-7.

Do not be worried by this, just order by your best US size and you should get the correct fit.

What About Kids Sizes??
Not all of our shoes are available in kids’ sizes. We carry the Kung Fu shoes for girls or boys; Black Velvet Mary Janes, and the Soft Cotton Black, Pink, and White Mary Janes in children’s sizes; in addition to the Mary Jane Lite silk brocade shoes in Black or Red brocade. All the children’s sizes are listed on the same page; this is accessible by clicking on the small red brocade shoe on the shoe wheel—the one where Hello Kitty pops out when you put the cursor over it.

Children’s sizes are unisex and start at a Chinese size 21, equivalent to US child’s 4 (which is a toddler’s size), and run to Chinese size 30 which is equivalent to US child’s 13; then Chinese girls’ sizes 31-34 are equal to US girls’ 1-4. Boys sizes in the Kung Fu shoes jump from child’s 13 (Chinese 30) to a boys’ size 1 (Chinese 34)."
