Mantra Ring

Inscribed in gold over sterling silver is "Om mani padme hum", a Tibetan mantra (a sound or word spoken aloud or silently in meditation) which is a devotional formula for "The Jewel in the Lotus" or "He who observes the sounds of the world" and has a dorje, male sign. The mantra helps to achieve a connection with the deeper levels of consciousness. This is the way it was explained to me by one of the Tibetan monks when we fed them in our cafe.
