Our flying pigs, also known as sprit chasers are
hand-carved from balsa wood pieces, and hand painted. In Indonesian tradition
the flying pig spirit chaser protects sleeping children from evil spirits, assuring their safe return to this
reality. In the west pigs with wings symbolize an amazingly improbable event
that one might wish for...if only pigs could fly.
