Dinner
Soups are all homemade and vegetarian. Served with just a dab of
sour cream Russian style. Included with entrees. We serve
Borscht, Black Bean,
Lentil, Mushroom,
North African Split Pea,
Romanian Ciorba, Russian French,
Schii, Spinach
Salads are our version of Greek salads.
Finely chopped cucmebers, tomatoes, onions and lettuce topped with feta
cheese, Greek black olives and our house olive oil dressing. Included with
entrees.
Entrees with Soup and Salad
| Vegetarian Ghivetch -- Our
version of a Moldavian vegetable stew. Beginning with carrots and onions
sauteed in olive oil, a variety of vegetables are added and stewed
together wil dill, parsley and sometimes cauliflower, green beans, peas
and almost anything except the garden fence! |

| Armenian Cheese Roll -- Feta
cheese blended with cream cheese, the finest Greek black olives, green
peppers and cilantro wrapped in a chapati bread, served slightly warm.
These flavors are found together in Greek, Armenian and Georgian dishes |

| Foulle -- An Egyptian chili made with
fava beans seasoned with cumin and spices. Served in chapati bread with
melted feta cheese An old favorite of Ramses III. |

| Mushroom Stew -- Mushrooms have
always been a regular part of Russian cooking are often substituted for
meat. Mushroom picking in the forest is a frequent family outing. We
also pick our mushrooms, often on Sunday, but in the produce department.

Russian dish. Chunks of pork sauteed with onions, mushrooms, potatoes
and herbs. According to the old recipe we also add pickles when cooking.

chicken breasts stewed with carrots, onions, spices, raisins and fresh
garlic in a sour cream sauce. Lightly curried. served over rice noodles.
