Dear Friends of the Café, For the first time since opening our doors the restaurant is paying its way. Hooray! With so many restaurants closing all around we can proudly/humbly/joyfully, say we’re here to stay. We feel like a young grizzly emerging from the winter sleep—skinny, hungry and ready for action. We plan to kick off our second year with more events, more specials, more performances, and will continue to market ourselves as a cultural destination–much more than just another eatery. Many customers have suggested we offer membership, like Borders books or the Co-op. Membership means loyalty to the business and financial rewards to the customers. It also means raising some capital that would allow the business to further develop our mission. Please consider joining.
