Lion Mask

These masks are alive! I've never seen such exquisite weaving of a rough fiber. This fiber art is woven by Ronaldo who works in a outdoor market in Rio de Janeiro. First he separates tons of fibers in ordinary rope and then he weaves them around a wire frame that he has made. If that wasn't enough work Ronaldo insists on making his own dyes to color and finish the final lion. For all you lion lovers this is the best I've seen.
