Israeli Bottles

I have been collecting these bottles for three years. Not a collector by nature, I seldom have a long-lasting urge to possess "the line" of anything. One or two maybe, but a collection?
Nevertheless, these hand blown and hand painted replicas of ancient perfume bottles just keep appearing on my dresser. Why? Feminine yet strong, each seems to have a name or a tune or
an image from my Jewish childhood. How can I describe their piercing beauty? Listen to the first bars of the violin in Fiddler on the Roof, that's how they are. Made from Neker glass in
Jerusalem. These bottles are not mass produced so we get them in various colors.
The one you get may not look exactly like the one in the photograph.
