Mousky Glass from Cairo

What is there in the bubbles in the glass? A frozen breath? From the times of the Pharaohs when the neighboring Phoenicians taught the craft of glass blowing to the Egyptians, this tradition has been passed from generation to generation. In the old city of Cairo there's a section called Mousky where the glass blowers live and work. Because the Mousky glass is made the same way today as in ancient Egypt it still has the old-world charm of bubbles and swirls. Natural oxides are added to the melted glass to produce several different colors.

Available in Cobalt Blue, Emerald Green, Amber, or Clear.
