Ramayana Game Set

This beautiful chess board is carved from Kepelan with Chinaberry and mahogany squares inlaid. The carved chess pieces depict elements from Hindu folklore's Ramayana. On the inside is a backgammon board with pieces for both backgammon and checkers. This is the first set we've seen that is both practical, versatile and impressive. The pieces although hand carved in detail are not easily broken. It folds for easy transport and storage. Hand carved in Indonesia
