Magnetic Backgammon Set

I grew up playing backgammon (almost as popular in Russia as chess) and still love a challenging game, especially against European men, who particularly hate to lose to a woman!

We found this compact Backgammon set in the Village in New York City; and I always carry it with me when we travel. It’s perfect for playing on a plane, a train, a car, or on a little café table against someone interesting.

An ancient and noble game, backgammon is known throughout the world by many names: "Takhteh Nard" in Persia; "Tavola Reale" in Rome, "Tavli" in Greece, "Tric-Trac" in France and Morocco, "T-shu-p-u" in  China; "Sugoroko" in Japan... History
